button next to the large view of any of his photographs. Each print is scaled to fit a 16 x 20 frame with a minimum 1-inch white border, and is produced on a smooth German photorag paper that gives it just a touch of a warm tone.
All pen-and-ink sketches by Earl Biss are also to be had as museum quality prints at $60 each. • A note on "museum quality prints": A print means that multiple copies exist or can be made to exist. Over the centuries, artists have found that prints, perhaps more than one-of-a-kind works, put more beer and wine on the table, and many print media were developed. There are the traditional etchings, engravings, wood blocks, seriagraphs, lithographys, and photographs. They were often editioned and were "original" if signed by the artist whether or not they actually ran the press. Museum quality means that museums accept the print as art.
